Thomas P. Connelly, Jr. is an experienced trial attorney representing individual and corporate clients in civil and criminal litigation matters before the New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts, federal district courts, and appellate courts.
Mr. Connelly graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in philosophy and received his Juris Doctor from the Temple University Beasley School of Law. He is currently pursuing a second B.A. in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Springfield. Mr. Connelly's experience includes litigation of matters involving personal injury, employment and discrimination law, matrimonial law, medical malpractice, commercial cases (including the Uniform Commercial Code), contracts, social security disability, workers compensation, complex litigation, probate and orphan’s court, criminal and traffic defense, and prosecution of appeals through the highest state courts.
Mr. Connelly has tried numerous cases to verdict. He is admitted in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Connelly is a practitioner of the martial art of Aikido and incorporates the methods and philosophies of that art into his practice as a litigator. He believes that each of his clients is entitled to effective, zealous representation at every stage of the litigation process, and has dedicated himself to providing it: “In our adversarial legal system, winning the case for the client must be the attorney’s single objective.”
